Characteristics
Also known as the pantry moth, the Indian meal moth has dark brown wings that become lighter as they get towards the head, which has two long, thin antennae. These antennae also start dark and become white towards the tips. In some lights, the pale parts of their wings can look almost golden in colour. Indian meal moths eat stored grains and dried food products.
