When the bird meets the track it emits a small electric pulse which then deters the birds from returning to the areas it sees this as a threat. This is learned behaviour and is very effective at protecting buildings, ledges and in fact anything from loafing birds.

What is Avishock and how does it work?

Avishock is the leading brand of electric bird deterrent, offering a discreet alternative to traditionally obtrusive methods of protecting both new and old buildings. Avishock is essentially a track that can be glued or fastened to any structure and a small discrete energiser can be used to send a pulse of electricity through the tracks. This pulse then scares the birds from the ledges they are on, Energisers can be mains or solar powered depending on the project and local restrictions.

Where is it best suited to

This effective control system is effective against all bird species and Avishock is proven safe for all birds and is the perfect answer for use alongside bird netting, bird wires and bird spikes on difficult to proof structures such as ledges, statues and old buildings where aesthetics are important.

For buildings of historic importance or major structures we often see examples of new or historic buildings fouled by birds and their debris or by highly visible bird control methods installed as an afterthought.

Avishock™ is ideal for complex projects and high visibility sites, offering a visually discreet solution to the removal of birds. At just 8mm high, the track is almost impossible to see from ground level yet the system offers guaranteed protection

Avisock can be a complex system to fit and maintain so a full site survey is essential to get it right. Call us for a full survey from one of our experts
